Delicious Irish whiskey, released yearly as part of the Writers Tears range. This is the 2017 edition, released with an outturn of 5,280 bottles. Pair it with a good book about whisk(e)y, we reckon. Lucky, we have quite a few of those.
Nose: Milk chocolate buttons, peppercorn, caramelised nuts.
Palate: Fresh and fruity, with lots of mango, melon and pear drop notes. Waves of clove and nutmeg develop later on.
Finish: Spiciness sticks around, with a final flourish of nectarine.
