This is the core single malt whiskey from the Westland distillery (which was crowned Craft Producer of the Year at the Icons of Whisky 2016), matured in American oak casks.
Nose: Cherries, coffee and chocolate. Vanilla custard and peppery wood.
Palate: Caramel, buttered bread, a touch of cigar box.
Finish: Peppery oak returns on the finish, with a touch of pear.: Cacao, toasted, pecan, stone fruit, honey.
