A new release from Eigashima Shuzo, whose better known whiskies are marketed under the "White Oak" label.
The Kamitaka brand (meaning "God Hawk") is based on the tale of a Japanese sea captain who witnessed a hawk flying around their vessel's mast during a dangerous mission, a symbol which gave hope to his crewmen. Otherwise, very little information is currently available regarding this whisky.
