This whisky is peated to 40 PPM, then distilled in December of the same year, this is a whisky of flawless provenance. The texture of the Islay Barley single malt whisky is rich and robust with the maltiness of the barley very much at the fore.
Made with a painfully slow distillation to gently coax the delicate oils and flavour compounds from the barley, coupled with casks carefully selected to preserve those flavours, has resulted in a whisky of exceptional complexity.
